Spotlight Series: Vision Angus Female Offering

Host Scott Beck visits Vision Angus in Holyoke, Colorado, for a spotlight episode previewing their upcoming Female Sale on October 24th at the Beef Barn. Scott sits down with Brent Vielesmeyer and his son Austin to walk through the sale offering top to bottom — and as Scott says, "there is no bottom."

The episode covers the elite donor cows anchoring the sale, led by Lot 1: the Evergreen 245 cow (sired by Square B Atlantis), offered with her Rygate heifer calf and a Prosper pregnancy or embryos. Brent and Austin also break down the Mill Brae 8305 cow and her standout Sits Eternity flush heifer, Rita 492 (bred to the hard-to-find HF High Country 7L), and daughters of the Erika Evelina 243 cow — plus embryos and pregnancies from each donor.

Austin then walks through eight registered Angus show heifers and a steer, including lead-off PVF Capone and PVF Kingpin heifers from the Phyllis cow family. The discussion highlights disposition, youth development, and the goal of raising show heifers that become productive herd cows.

The sale will also feature Montana Judgment daughters, bred heifers to sires like Flint, Venerate, and Prairie Rain, and a semen package at the end. Bidding available online at salering.live. For more info, visit the Vision Angus Facebook page or call Brent at 970-520-9006.
